FOR THE SHIPPING RATES AND POLICIES FOR  the Beautiful New CUSTOM MADE Rhinestone Collars, Fabulous New Designer Products, and the Designer Dog Collars look under those specific categories.  We have a lot of products that have a no return, or exchange policy.  If you have any questions about whether a specific item can be exchanged, please contact us at fourpawsdogcollars2@hughes.net.  We deal with 10 different suppliers and each one has their own individualized polices that is handed down to us and we have to follow that policy.

Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice.  Errors including descriptive, photographic and/or typographic are subject to correction.  This applies to ALL of our products no matter which supplier it comes from.

At FourPawsDogCollars.com, we and our vendor/manufacturers use various carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) for shipping; therefore, we are bound by the rules of each carrier.  And, no matter which carrier it is or which one of our suppliers it is if you have purchased something and a tracking number can be furnished that shows the carrier received it -- but then  if you don't get it please, do not expect us to make it good.  If something like this happens a tracking number shows that we have done what we should have and our supplier has also.  At that point, it is a mistake made by the carrier and you then have a problem with them -- not me or my supplier.  It is unfair to you when you purchase something & don't receive it but it is just as unfair to me for you to expect me or my supplier to make good on someone else's mistake.  You have the opportunity to purchase shipping insurance on products that have SKU numbers that end with a -D, or -R, if you want to cover the purchase that you make. 

Shipping and handling costs are NOT refundable -- ever.

Initially shipped merchandise returned (due to customer changing of address or ordering wrong size) to the vendor/manufacturer, will be subject to re-shipping fees as well as 20% restocking feesAlways contact us at fourpawsdogcollars2@hughes.net before you send anything back.  All returns must be pre-authorized.  You must have an RMA # before returning anything to us..   If you have not  contacted and received a RMA # before sending the  product  back  to us it will be returned to you unopened.

Return Policy

This Return Policy is for everything EXCEPT Beautiful New CUSTOM MADE Rhinestone Collars, Fabulous New Designer Products, and Designer Dog Collars.  They have their own Return Policy.  We have a lot of products that have a no return policy unless the product is defective.  If you have any doubts as to what the return policy is for a specific item, please contact us and ask.  We can be contacted at fourpawsdogcollars2@hughes.net.  Since we deal with so many different suppliers each one has their own policies and we have to go by what they pass down to us.  You must have a RMA # before returning  ANYTHING.  If you have not contacted us and received a RMA number before sending the product back it will be returned to you unopened.


Any item returned for an exchange must be in its original, unused condition.  It must have tags attached and must contain all original documents, boxes, etc. or it will be refused.

Returns:

DO NOT SEND YOUR PRODUCTS TO ME!!!!!  You must have an RMA # before returning anything.   If you have not  contacted us and received a RMA number before sending the  product  back it will be returned to you unopened. 

Some items may be returned for exchange within 14 days of purchase if they are in new condition with original packaging. Items will not be accepted for return if they are soiled or have dog hair on them. There will be no refunds  (ONLY EXCHANGES) and when doing an exchange it has to be for an item of the same dollar value or more.  Also, there is only one (1) exchange allowed.  After that, the full price for the product and shipping will be charged.

Defective Merchandise: If an item is truly defective then it must be returned for most items within 14 days of purchase.  Defective does not mean that when you get it you change your mind & don't want it anymore so you start picking it to pieces and say that it is defective.  DEFECTIVE means DEFECTIVE!!!!!  A replacement item will be shipped out at no charge.  For the items that have a SKU # ending in -DD the time frame for returning an item is 5 days due to the fact that I have to notify the supplier no later than 5 days.

Exchanges:

 

We deal with 10 different suppliers who all have their own shipping charges and return (and exchanges) policies.  You will need to contact us by email at fourpawsdogcollars2@hughes.net to let us know to be expecting it. All returns must be pre-authorized.  You must have an RMA # before returning anything.  If you have not  contacted us and received a RMA number before sending the  product  back it will be returned to you unopened.   We will then give you the address to send it to. Most of our suppliers only allow 14 days to make an exchange. You will need to send it to our supplier with a note saying what size you want, etc. However, we will have to charge your credit card for shipping again and there is also a 20% restocking fee. Once our supplier receives it, they will send you back the size you request.  You are allowed one exchange (for the products that can be exchange) with a 20% restocking fee.  If you want a second exchange the restocking fee goes up to 50%.  We have to pay for each one of the products that are exchanged and even though you return the other collar to us we might be able to sell it and we might not.  If we can't then we have paid for a collar that is doing us no good.  If we are lucky enough to resell it then there is not much telling how long it will take for us to resell it but in the mean time we are having to pay for it.  We don't like to charge the high restocking fees but can't afford to do anything else.  Our suppliers will not take more than one exchange.  After that it is on us. 

If an item is going to be returned, you must ALWAYS contact us at fourpawsdogcollars2@hughes.net before returning an item.  When you do return an item you will be charged for the cost of re-shipping and there is a restocking fee of 20% on  items returned unless we have made a mistake or there is a true defect (not imaginary defect or it wasn't what you thought it was) with the product.  You must have an RMA # before returning anything to us.   If you have not  contacted and received a RMA number before sending the  product  back  to us it will be returned to you unopened AND when doing an exchange it has to be for another product that is of the same dollar value or more.

PLEASE READ THIS -- IT IS VERY IMPORTANT: 

BECAUSE OF US DEALING WITH SO MANY SUPPLIERS IF THERE IS AN EXCHANGE TO BE MADE AND IT IS ALLOWED IT WILL HAVE TO BE EXCHANGED FOR ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM THE VERY SAME SUPPLIER.  IN ORDER TO FIGURE OUT WHETHER IT IS THE SAME SUPPLIER, OR NOT, LOOK AT THE SKU #.  EACH SKU # ENDS WITH A DASH AND THEN A LETTER (-D, -R, -M, ETC.).  THE SKU # WILL HAVE TO END WITH THE SAME LETTER.  The way to explain this is by simply saying that if you buy something at Wal-Mart and you want to exchange it you have to take it back to Wal-Mart to exchange it.  You wouldn't be allowed to exchange it at K-Mart, or anywhere else.  This is the very same policy.  Our web site deals with so many suppliers and most web sites deal with only one supplier.  This is the reason for this rule.  Please try to understand and PLEASE -- DO NOT ASK ME TO EXCHANGE ONE PRODUCT THAT ENDS WITH ONE LETTER FOR A PRODUCT THAT ENDS WITH A DIFFERENT LETTER.  I cannot do this. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Also, when placing an order PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure that you are ordering the correct size and giving me the correct information as stated in the descriptions and elsewhere.  I do not have the time to contact every one that makes a mistake and it is not my RESPONSIBILITY to contact you if you make a mistake.

If for some reason I have to make a refund to you, after that refund is made it is then out of my hands as to how long it will take for you to get your money back.  After the refund is made I am through with it.  It is then in the hands of another company to refund you your money.  As a normal rule, you will have your money back in your account within a week's time.
