At FourPawsDogCollars.com, we and our vendor/manufacturers use various carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) for shipping; therefore, we are bound by the rules of each carrier. And, no matter which carrier it is or which one of our suppliers it is if you have purchased something and a tracking number can be furnished that shows the carrier received it -- but then if you don't get it please, do not expect us to make it good. If something like this happens a tracking number shows that we have done what we should have and our supplier has also. At that point, it is a mistake made by the carrier and you then have a problem with them -- not me or my supplier. It is unfair to you when you purchase something & don't receive it but it is just as unfair to me for you to expect me or my supplier to make good on someone else's mistake. You have the opportunity to purchase shipping insurance on products that have SKU numbers that end with a -D, -R, -M, or -MC, if you want ,to cover the purchase that you make.

Defective Merchandise: If an item is truly defective then it must be returned for most items within 14 days of purchase. Defective does not mean that when you get it you change your mind & don't want it anymore so you start picking it to pieces and say that it is defective. DEFECTIVE means DEFECTIVE!!!!! A replacement item will be shipped out at no charge. For the items that have a SKU # ending in -DD the time frame for returning an item is 5 days due to the fact that I have to notify the supplier no later than 5 days.
Exchanges:
We deal with 10 different suppliers who all have their own shipping charges and return (and exchanges) policies. You will need to contact us by email at fourpawsdogcollars@allegiance.tv to let us know to be
expecting it. All returns must be pre-authorized. You must have an Return Merchandise Authorization number before returning anything to us. If you have not contacted us and received a RMA number before sending the product back to us it will be returned to you unopened.We will then give you the address to send it to. Most of our suppliers only allow 14 days to make an exchange.
You will need to send it to our supplier with a note saying what size
you want, etc. However, we will have to
charge your credit card for shipping again and usually there is also a 20% restocking fee. Once our supplier receives
it, they will send you back the size you request.
If an item is going to be returned, you must ALWAYS contact us at fourpawsdogcollars@allegiance.tv before returning an item. When you do return an item you will be charged for the cost of re-shipping and there is a restocking fee of 20% on most items returned unless we have made a mistake or there is a true defect (not imaginative defect) with the product. You must have an Return Merchandise Authorization number before returning anything to us.. If you have not contacted and received a RMA number before sending the product back to us it will be returned to you unopened AND when doing an exchange it has to be for another product that is of the same dollar value or more.
PLEASE READ THIS -- IT IS VERY IMPORTANT:
BECAUSE OF US DEALING WITH SO MANY SUPPLIERS IF THERE IS AN EXCHANGE TO BE MADE AND IT IS ALLOWED IT WILL HAVE TO BE EXCHANGED FOR ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM THE VERY SAME SUPPLIER. IN ORDER TO FIGURE OUT WHETHER IT IS THE SAME SUPPLIER, OR NOT, LOOK AT THE SKU #. EACH SKU # ENDS WITH A DASH AND THEN A LETTER (-D, -R, -M, ETC.). THE SKU # WILL HAVE TO END WITH THE SAME LETTER. The way to explain this is by simply saying that if you buy something at Wal-Mart and you want to exchange it you have to take it back to Wal-Mart to exchange it. You wouldn't be allowed to exchange it at K-Mart, or anywhere else. This is the very same policy. Our web site deals with so many suppliers and most web sites deal with only one supplier. This is the reason for this rule. Please try to understand and PLEASE -- DO NOT ASK ME TO EXCHANGE ONE PRODUCT THAT ENDS WITH ONE LETTER FOR A PRODUCT THAT ENDS WITH A DIFFERENT LETTER. I cannot do this. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
Also, when placing an order PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure that you are ordering the correct size and giving me the correct information as stated in the descriptions and elsewhere. I do not have the time to contact every one that makes a mistake and it is not my RESPONSIBILITY to contact you if you make a mistake.
If for some reason I have to make a refund to you, after that refund is made it is then out of my hands as to how long it will take for you to get your money back. After the refund is made I am through with it. It is then in the hands of another company to refund you your money. As a normal rule, you will have your money back in your account within a week's time.
